“Teaser and the firecat” è il mio album preferito di Cat Stevens. In “Tesaer and the firecat” la contaminazione mediterranea di Cat Stevens si manifesta ancora di più che in “Tea for the tillerman”, infatti abbiamo un pezzo (Rubylove) cantato per metà in lingua greca,(il padre di Cat Stevens era cipriota, il vero nome di Cat Stevens è Steven Georgioiu) accompagnato da un buzuki. “Teaser and the firecat” musicalmente è più “arioso”, di una tonalità più chiara , e questo stile su Cat Stevens mi è piaciuto molto. Per quelli che sono i miei gusti “Teaser and the firecat” è il suo album più bello. Una piccola curiosità: “Teaser and the firecat” è anche una fiaba ed un disegno animato, dove Firecat era il gatto di Teaser, e voleva rimettere la luna in cielo dopo che era caduta per terra.
